Packages Galore at Napier Conferences and Events!

Whether you have an hour to fill, an afternoon, or are considering a before-breakfast energiser at your next event, the team at Napier Conferences and Events are making it easier for conference organisers to deliver memorable experiences for delegates.

“Our event co-ordinators have been working with clients for a number of years giving advice and ideas for fun activities and events to incorporate into their conference.  We’ve taken this a step further by utilising the strong relationships we have with our other council facilities and local providers, and established some great activity packages and ideas for delegates,” advises Glenys Fraser, Venues Manager, Napier City Council.

“It is about offering superb customer service to our clients, and one way of doing this is making as many aspects of organising an event as easy as possible.” says Glenys.

Activities range from swimming with the sharks and private themed events at the National Aquarium of New Zealand, to team golf challenges at Par2 MiniGolf.  They can also arrange pre-dinner events in the beautiful museum foyer at MTG Hawke’s Bay. 

The conference centre’s long standing relationships with local partners allows the team to offer Art Deco themed events and activities, so conference organisers can make the most of holding an event in the Art Deco capital of New Zealand.

The team also works with the Napier i-SITE – another Council-run facility - providing clients with additional options to take their event to the next level, such as taking a ride in a sailing waka, organising progressive dinners, or experiencing the city from the seat of a vintage car.

“The beauty about many of the activities is they’re in such close proximity to the conference centre, taking away some of the challenges and time constraints involved when organising these events” says Glenys.
