Natusch Ballroom
The Natusch Ballroom is the largest space in the centre and its majestic curved design and panoramic views of Hawke's Bay make it the perfect setting for any occasion. Named after Guy Natusch, the architect of Napier War Memorial Centre when it was originally built in 1957, it has a floor area of 498m2, a ceiling height of 4.5m and can take up to 450* guests configured as a theatre, classroom, *cocktail (standing event with refreshments), dinner and dance or banquet space.
The room also has staging facilities, a dedicated PA system and a ceiling-mounted data projector and screen. It's the ideal space for an Art Deco style dinner, conference, wedding, school ball or cocktail party. A portable dance floor enhances the possibilities for different types of social events.
