At the end of this week we bid farewell to Conferences and Events Manager, Jacqui D’Ath, after eight years of outstanding service to the business.
During this time she has played a key role in creating strong relationships within the industry as well as leading a skilled team of event organisers, through some particularly challenging times.
Jacqui’s wealth of knowledge and experience will be greatly missed by the team. We wish her well in her new endeavours and have no doubt we'll continue working together in the pursuit of bringing clients and events to our wonderful Hawke’s Bay region.
With farewells also comes new opportunity and we are pleased to announce the appointment of Hayden Henderson as acting Conference and Events Manager. Hayden has been working as Manager for Napier’s largest accommodation provider, Kennedy Park Resort, for the past two-and-a-half years. He brings over 15 years of experience across the hotel and tourism industries, both in New Zealand and London, United Kingdom. With a passion for ensuring seamless customer experiences, Hayden is looking forward to meeting new clients and continuing to drive leading events and conferences towards Napier.
Hayden will be hitting the ground running as we kick back into gear following Cyclone Gabrielle. During the immediate aftermath, our team was deployed across various areas of Napier City Council to aid in the response. The Napier War Memorial Centre was also utilised for some community support initiatives.
We're looking forward to attending MEETINGS 2023 in Wellington and introducing Hayden to our valued clients.
